The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raik Topuz was the one to do the kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Patrick Knechtli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. But to his dismay, Téo Savion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A hard shot 88 in the game by Gustaaf Groeneveldt from a close distance when the talented Patrick Knechtli managed to make a qualified save. Olympique Fribourg's players were relieved. Edoardo Oroni charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edoardo Oroni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
