TeamSystem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Ceceli having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Robbin van Persie sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hasan Ceceli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hasan Ceceli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind TeamSystem's goalkeeper Hasan Ceceli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, TeamSystem's Umur Aksoy got a free kick in the 38th minute. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 54 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Robbin van Persie came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbin van Persie's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Omar Pacho made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 60th minute. After 93 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hasan Ceceli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. 94 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Tacettin Şahinalp came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Edip Lut made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The TeamSystem players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
