With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Cumali Neşat tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bora Hazer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cumali Neşat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Cumali Neşat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnout Reekers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bora Hazer. The A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bora Hazer should have stopped the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bora Hazer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. Bora Hazer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute of the match. Bora Hazer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK got a freekick which was hit by Babacar Amokachi. Bora Hazer came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's David Eikelkamp. But to his dismay, David Eikelkamp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 36thth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Bora Hazer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Bora Hazer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Cumali Neşat managed to get in a good position for a shot. A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cumali Neşat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mathijn Doctor made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gustaaf Groeneveldt however managed to control. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cumali Neşat in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. Bora Hazer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 51st minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cumali Neşat in the 54th minute of the match. Yavuz Bülent Çalımbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bora Hazer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bora Hazer. That made the score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Bora Hazer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK's Cumali Neşat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bora Hazer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Bora Hazer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 79th minute. A collision led to A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Babacar Amokachi hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, David Eikelkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bora Hazer was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-6. Bora Hazer made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Netherlands played a much better game than A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK and deserved their victory. The A K Ç A Y ✔ 37 SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
