After 2 played minutes Oskars Glada Gäng got a freekick which was hit by Peter Kielstedt. When Metod Mlynar came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Metod Mlynar couldn't finish the play. During the 7th minute of the match Peter Kielstedt completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Peter Kielstedt a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Oskars Glada Gäng's Peter Kielstedt got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of Oskars Glada Gäng booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornel Jahoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 12th minute, when Oskars Glada Gäng's Erland Vinström after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Henrich Slany in Slovakia's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 21st minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Oskars Glada Gäng getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Pelle Forsberg hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ondrej Biskup to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Fu Shu Xuan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Henrich Slany, passed just outside the right post. Slovakia's Zigmund Maliar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Per Finman in the 35 minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fu Shu Xuan to make the kick off. If Pelle Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Oskars Glada Gäng's André Gustafsson got control of the ball when Metod Mlynar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Metod Mlynar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Metod Mlynar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Gustafsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Metod Mlynar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Fu Shu Xuan came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. André Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oskars Glada Gäng's André Gustafsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Oskars Glada Gäng from getting a goal against them. Oliver Holub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Gustafsson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Oskars Glada Gäng's Fu Shu Xuan got a free kick in the 82nd minute. André Gustafsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metod Mlynar in the 84th minute. After 90 played minutes Oskars Glada Gäng got a freekick which was hit by Fu Shu Xuan. André Gustafsson made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Metod Mlynar sent off a good shot on target.
