The attack was good, but when David Eikelkamp in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Artuner having to interfere. Alam Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniz Keng in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ryan Seng took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Afiq Nair got a free kick in the 27th minute. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniz Keng's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Manchester United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Penkalski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 1-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Gustaaf Groeneveldt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Ali Artuner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Netherlands's Gust Ennemans managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Afiq Nair in the 61 minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Lars Meesters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Meesters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Artuner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Seng in the 70th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Azam Chew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alam Lee, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ali Artuner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ali Artuner came out and tried to block the shot, but David Eikelkamp slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 83rd minute. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Afiq Nair sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers.
