In the 38th minute Denis Dostal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkor Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mergildo Barro to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Turecek to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Melkor Delgado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Toro Pascua fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 2017★ WWF Comarruga ★S62's protests and gave Toro Pascua a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Dostal made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 2017★ WWF Comarruga ★S62's Mergildo Barro. If Mergildo Barro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Bohumir Kohout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 80th minute of play forced 2017★ WWF Comarruga ★S62's goalkeeper Melkor Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, 2017★ WWF Comarruga ★S62's Cambranes Munoz got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute Mergildo Barro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Czech Republic eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
