Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Esbjerg fB getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Max Rambov hit a great ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Walicki having to interfere. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Esbjerg fB's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Wawrzyniec Walicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Servet Turabi in the 14th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wawrzyniec Walicki came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Wawrzyniec Walicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Wawrzyniec Walicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 23rd minute of play. 于震树s short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Arnout Reekers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Wawrzyniec Walicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 29th minute of the match. Wawrzyniec Walicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Servet Turabi came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnout Reekers could save by the left post. After 37 minutes Esbjerg fB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Kees Mooiweer was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Esbjerg fB's Wawrzyniec Walicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 39th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wawrzyniec Walicki having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Chris Rangø mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esbjerg fB and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Walicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 于震树 to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wawrzyniec Walicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 55 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Lars Meesters. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Rambov during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Max Rambov hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Esbjerg fB's Wawrzyniec Walicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Esbjerg fB from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute of the match, Lars Meesters tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wawrzyniec Walicki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wim Wilmes made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Esbjerg fB's Wawrzyniec Walicki managed to reach the ball for a save. Wawrzyniec Walicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 67th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wawrzyniec Walicki. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 70th minute of play forced Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Walicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Wawrzyniec Walicki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 74 played minutes Esbjerg fB got a freekick which was hit by Ib Dalsted. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wawrzyniec Walicki firmly grabbed it by the left post. Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gustaaf Groeneveldt 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 81st minute of play forced Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Walicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Walicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wawrzyniec Walicki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 91st minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wawrzyniec Walicki. Wawrzyniec Walicki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 94 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Servet Turabi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
