The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaume Vilardell got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carles Miramont's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Gabriel Ascaso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roger Riera hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. If David Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 46th minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Albert Canyelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carles Miramont to make the kick off. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. Albert Canyelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Aranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75thth minute of the game Pascual Macia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spain's Gabriel Ascaso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adria Bielsa succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 79th playminute. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Mateu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
