A collision led to INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Franklin Velloso hit a great ball. Franklin Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin Velloso to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Ezio Gøl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Ezio Gøl tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 played minutes INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha de Brito. Alisson Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Gerson Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nilmar de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezio Gøl in the 38th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ezio Gøl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Alisson Goycochea made a huge save. In the 54th minute Ezio Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franklin Velloso made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nilmar de Souza. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alisson Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Janik Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Janik Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 64th minute. Nilmar de Souza scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ezio Gøl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA made a substitution. Geovanni Ramalho replaced Nilmar de Souza. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA's Lucas Head Son was substituted for Ezio Gøl. 89 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Head Son came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Head Son in the 91st minute of play. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Chuan in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. INTERNACIONAL DA BAHIA fully deserved thier win.
