Tobias Øverland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michel Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Yves Dervaux ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Øverland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The throw-in from Floris Claeys in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by APOELHELLAS's 刘战弘. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Belgium defense, Michel Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Claes. The Belgium fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Claes should have stopped the shot. Nigel Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The APOELHELLAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 1-2.

In the 56th minute Michel Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Lykaon Belesis came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Egoitz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Tobias Øverland was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Edward Vanderstraeten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Vanderstraeten really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. If Michel Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. APOELHELLAS's Aglauros Sakellariou was substituted for Lykaon Belesis. Siebe Michiels made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by APOELHELLAS's Anton Hylander. In the 84th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Øverland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Santos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casper Claes having to make a save. Thanks to some nice moves Siebe Michiels could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Tobias Øverland however easily saved by the left post. In the 90th minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Tobias Øverland despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tobias Øverland was a little too slow when Edward Vanderstraeten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-4. Belgium's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
