Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Bahadır Çile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. If Ahmet Orhan Tuyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Orhan Tuyan in the 15th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. €FSAN€17's Bahadır Çile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play. Bahadır Çile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of play. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bahadır Çile in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. €FSAN€17's Bahadır Çile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 21st minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahadır Çile having to interfere. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Ahmet Orhan Tuyan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in €FSAN€17's zone, Lars Meesters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahadır Çile came out of the goal and Lars Meesters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 34 minutes on the clock, Egbert Nijveldt commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after €FSAN€17's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bahadır Çile quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bahadır Çile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when €FSAN€17 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hisham Omar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Bas Tuitert. Arnout Reekers was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hisham Omar. 48 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Vahit Baysan came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Gustaaf Groeneveldt made the kick off in the second half. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Orhan Tuyan in the 51st minute of the match. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Bahadır Çile made a huge save. With a little luck, €FSAN€17's Bahadır Çile got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind €FSAN€17's goalkeeper Bahadır Çile, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, €FSAN€17's Necat Rıfat got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bahadır Çile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 82nd minute. After 83 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bahadır Çile. Bahadır Çile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bahadır Çile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahit Baysan in the 91st minute of play. €FSAN€17's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored to the left of an out of position Bahadır Çile, making the score, 0-3. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than €FSAN€17 throughout the match.
