When Sigfrido Auletta came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigfrido Auletta couldn't finish the play. Bartlomiej Jaroch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute of play. Gwidon Bronkala made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Sigfrido Auletta. After a defensive mix-up in Socjopaci's zone, Porziano Marchitelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartlomiej Jaroch came out of the goal and Porziano Marchitelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartlomiej Jaroch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugon Adamczak got free with Flavio Vittori in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bartlomiej Jaroch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Pincoski in the 46th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Adriano Curto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bartlomiej Jaroch. The goal made the score 1-5.
