An unexpected shot in the 7th minute by Cícero das Neves got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A sloppy throw-in by 陆杰天 in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！'s goalkeeper 周真远, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 15th minute of play forced 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！'s goalkeeper 周真远 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Ingemar Tillman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 周真远 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkel Wulff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero das Neves in the 53rd minute of play. The throw-in from 陆杰天 in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！'s 秦诚树 got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！'s 秦诚树 got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69th minute of the match, Mikkel Wulff tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 周真远 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！ defense, Mikkel Wulff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 周真远. The 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 周真远 should have stopped the shot. Olav Graversen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, 秦诚树 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！'s supporters rose to their feet, but 秦诚树 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keld Paulsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 秦诚树 in the 80th minute of the match. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero das Neves in the 83rd minute of play. 秦诚树 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute of the match Marcelo Diniz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keld Paulsen skillfully saved the ball. The 人至溅无敌！水至清无鱼！ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
