Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Isaltino Durr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Dervaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Belgium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 5th minute. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isaltino Durr in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yves Dervaux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Durr having to interfere. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaltino Durr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Casper Claes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tony Snäll. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Junior Junior tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Junior Junior. With his leg Casper Claes managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Sävedalen's Junior Junior fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Junior's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Casper Claes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute Junior Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Junior Junior's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After having played for 38 minutes, Junior Junior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sävedalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Junior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Belgium booed when Sävedalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Junior Junior to strike the kick off in the second half. Junior Junior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaltino Durr made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Yves Dervaux cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isaltino Durr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sävedalen's Torsten Ekeroth was substituted for Lennart Larsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Collin in the 64th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Junior Junior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isaltino Durr could save by the left post. In the 80th minute, Per-Olof Collin made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Sävedalen's Isaltino Durr got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Collin in the 94th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
