The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Roger Clapham reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 1-0. A throw-in in the 8th minute of the game was made by Willy Stieler with Albin Holweck as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Clapham in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Hunting High & Low..'s Roger Clapham slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the game, Roger Clapham cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ian Power kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Linus Schwerner hit a great ball. Hunting High & Low.. were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hakan Savlet took the corner. After taking down the ball on Hunting High & Low..'s corner Pierce Wrigley fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. The throw-in from Linus Schwerner in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hunting High & Low..'s Lance Gilchrist. In the 38thth minute of the game Roger Clapham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hunting High & Low.. were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hakan Savlet took the corner. 43 minutes into the match, Hunting High & Low..'s Roger Clapham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Roger Clapham made the kick off in the second half. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Clapham's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Germany's Willy Stieler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lance Gilchrist in the 56 minute of the game. Archie Rowell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Archie Rowell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Archie Rowell was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After having played for 64 minutes, Roger Clapham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hunting High & Low..'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Clapham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Clapham struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hunting High & Low... In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79thth minute of the game Roger Clapham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 80 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Hunting High & Low..'s Roger Clapham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Archie Rowell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Archie Rowell was a little too slow when Frank Sachs got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 4-2. The supporters of Hunting High & Low.. booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Clapham came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Roger Clapham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
