Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gabriel-Omar Bati started the match with the kick off. Gabriel-Omar Bati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Claes having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Gabriel-Omar Bati reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Claes. The goal made the score 1-0. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel-Omar Bati in the 12th minute. Christopher Langford didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Couto Mixto F.C. booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Floris Claeys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Couto Mixto F.C.'s Christopher Langford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christopher Langford. Couto Mixto F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 40th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Gabriel-Omar Bati tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Belgium were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Christopher Langford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 51st minute of play. Christopher Langford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 64th minute of play forced Couto Mixto F.C.'s goalkeeper Christopher Langford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Couto Mixto F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Christopher Langford despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Belgium's Simon Sabbe in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Couto Mixto F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduino Cordoba in the 85th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christopher Langford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eneko Quesada in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Eduino Cordoba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduino Cordoba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Despite being the better team, Belgium failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
