Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nojus Bikas started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 3rd minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adria Bielsa in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Eidvilas Daunoras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes, Spain's Omar Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Spain reached it. Nojus Bikas might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Ascaso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nojus Bikas ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nojus Bikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Spain booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eitautas Ivoška didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Geležinis Vilkas's Gabrielius Velička got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Adria Bielsa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidijus Merkelis. Geležinis Vilkas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adria Bielsa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ovidijus Merkelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Geležinis Vilkas getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eidvilas Daunoras hit a great ball. Ovidijus Merkelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Aranda in the 22nd minute of play. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 23rd minute of the match. Jonathan Criado made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adria Bielsa however managed to control. In the 26th minute David Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidijus Merkelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, Spain's Adria Bielsa made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidijus Merkelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ovidijus Merkelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 37th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Criado made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Adria Bielsa immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Spain booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferrer Acha didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Omar Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Nojus Bikas came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidijus Merkelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nojus Bikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nojus Bikas in the 61st minute of the match. Ovidijus Merkelis came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Omar Toledo. But to his dismay, Omar Toledo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ovidijus Merkelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Omar Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidijus Merkelis was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Eidvilas Daunoras's late challenge caught a Spain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eidvilas Daunoras helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Geležinis Vilkas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Eidvilas Daunoras hit a great ball. In the 74th match minute, Geležinis Vilkas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eidvilas Daunoras to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Merino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Ovidijus Merkelis 77 minutes into the match. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. Ovidijus Merkelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Merino in the 85th minute. Vicente Merino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Ovidijus Merkelis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ovidijus Merkelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carles Cherro in the 86th minute of play. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 92nd minute of play. After 96 minutes of play, Spain's Sergio Ruiz made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidijus Merkelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Geležinis Vilkas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spain were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
