Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th match minute, Juventus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Ström to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Lindkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Lindkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörgen Lindkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esbjörn Pihlgren got free with Arnout Reekers in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juventus FC's Jörgen Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Juventus FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jörgen Lindkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juventus FC's Jörgen Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Juventus FC's Jörgen Lindkvist managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 28 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Lindkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils Marques III took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Nils Marques III scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 2-1. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörgen Lindkvist having to make a save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Lindkvist having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Juventus FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Biörling. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Wendell Wipp made the kick off in the second half. Jörgen Lindkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esbjörn Pihlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goalkeeper Jörgen Lindkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathijn Doctor. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Pihlgren in the 61st minute of play. Juventus FC's Jörgen Lindkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's Nils Marques III sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 69th minute. A nice corner shot did that Lars Meesters got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jörgen Lindkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 72 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jörgen Lindkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Esbjörn Pihlgren came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esbjörn Pihlgren couldn't finish the play. 78 minutes into the match, Juventus FC's goalkeeper Jörgen Lindkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Jörgen Lindkvist made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jörgen Lindkvist. Jörgen Lindkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3.
