Belchior Ribeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Fodor Daniel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Atabueira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Vörös Henrik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SC Atabueira's Idalécio Carrasqueira did a great save. After 43 minutes of play, SC Atabueira's Jaime Eiró made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Odín Wallffiguer made a kick off. Hugon Bryk hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Odín Wallffiguer came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Atabueira's Hugon Bryk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. SC Atabueira's Idalécio Carrasqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save SC Atabueira from getting a goal against them. Hugon Bryk might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hugon Bryk ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, SC Atabueira's Anton Manta got a free kick in the 69th minute. Idalécio Carrasqueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 76th minute. SC Atabueira made a substitution. Josué Campelo replaced Hugon Bryk. It was a well-played corner which Antal Valentin managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
