When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Will Alderson made a kick off. After 53 minutes Greenbay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Lu Wagner's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lu Wagner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Lu Wagner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greenbay's Vecdi Başesgioğlu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler, made in the 66th minute of the game. Greenbay's Eugen Remus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Greenbay from getting a goal against them. The Greenbay fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
