Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clayton Gol to strike the kick off in the second half. Sheriff's Dragoş Bălace managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bruno Bastos in the 51 minute of the game. Sheriff's Thodoris Tassoulis was substituted for Akakios Trachanas. Daniel Pimentel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Portugal's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sheriff's Giannis Polizos was substituted for Notis Filippas. 66 minutes into the game, Damaso Xacintu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sheriff from getting a goal against them. Portugal's attentive Bruno Bastos managed to snatch the ball when Dragoş Bălace made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Yahia van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolomeu Dias took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yahia van der Saar. Natalio Dominguez hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clayton Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Felipinho Amorim reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yahia van der Saar. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sheriff's goalkeeper Yahia van der Saar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thodoris Tassoulis took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sheriff players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
