Spain's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Omar Toledo in the 24th minute. After taking down the ball on Spain's corner Vicente Merino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Damiano Mucci quite easily take care of the ball. With his leg Gabriel Ascaso managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when FC Aquile Azzurre's Dinç Dede fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinç Dede, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Spain booed when FC Aquile Azzurre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hardy Zingg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adria Bielsa struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Damiano Mucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spain. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Bianco in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Federico Bianco put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Dinç Dede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Gabriel Ascaso made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Damiano Mucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Toledo in the 53rd minute. After having played for 56 minutes, Dinç Dede managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Aquile Azzurre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinç Dede was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elia Pasin charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia Pasin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elia Pasin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Damiano Mucci was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adria Bielsa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Bianco in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. FC Aquile Azzurre made a substitution. Alex Buffone replaced Osvaldinho Queirós. FC Aquile Azzurre's Carlo Borgatello was substituted for Federico Bianco. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. After 84 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Criado. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinç Dede, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When the final whistle sounded Spain left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Aquile Azzurre.
