Teo Gudelj hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Croatia's Martin Bosak got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Toni Mauzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Radu Ciordaș was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Damir Pongrac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Croatia's supporters rose to their feet, but Damir Pongrac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Ciordaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute Toni Mauzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Ciordaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wolves Academy booed when Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toni Mauzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damir Pongrac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radu Ciordaș having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Aron Condescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Croatia's Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toni Mauzer hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. If Eliodor Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radu Ciordaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Mauzer in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Eliodor Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toni Mauzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Radu Ciordaș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 48th minute of play forced Wolves Academy's goalkeeper Radu Ciordaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodor Braia was the one to do the kick off. Ilija Skugor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Condescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Damir Pongrac hit a great ball. Wolves Academy's Radu Ciordaș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Wolves Academy from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Aron Condescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinko Stankovics short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Radu Ciordaș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Radu Ciordaș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Bosak in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Wolves Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Damir Pongrac came free, but Radu Ciordaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Damir Pongrac got a free kick in the 81st minute. Radu Ciordaș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Kostelac in the 83rd minute of the match. Aron Condescu took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Benjamin Domazet hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Wolves Academy's Eliodor Balaci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ilija Skugor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0.
