After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Zbyszek Smuskiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Smuskiewicz got free with Tommy Kahn in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Wodziany SSA's Norbert Cetnar got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Cetnar made a kick off.
