Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valerios Voutsas in the 8th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Karl-Heinz Schneider sent off a good shot on target. Valerios Voutsas might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valerios Voutsas ran back to his position shaking his head. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laurențiu Susara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurențiu Susara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th play minute Valerios Voutsas came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Flavio Vittori. 1-0. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valerios Voutsas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sostene Vitulli kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes in the game Karl-Heinz Schneider after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Flavio Vittori. After a rather tough play, Saronida FC's Karmel Gian got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Italy's Porziano Marchitelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurențiu Susara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. When Zaccheo Andolina came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaccheo Andolina couldn't finish the play. Saronida FC's Louis Dentsas was substituted for Savas Ravousis. Saronida FC made a substitution. Jonas Pacheco replaced Eleftherios Vasdekis. Saronida FC's Laurențiu Susara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 67th minute of play. Huang Tian Yun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Italy players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
