Bobby Ramadhin charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bobby Ramadhin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bobby Ramadhin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes, Switzerland's Rodrigo von Känel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Palaimon Gomatos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Switzerland reached it. Anton Phipps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, F.C. Liverpool Tobago's Hias Nüssli threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anton Phipps, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Switzerland booed when F.C. Liverpool Tobago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Ramadhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hias Nüssli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Phipps in the 83rd minute of play. Franklin Mitchell-Gift received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Anton Phipps shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Switzerland booed when F.C. Liverpool Tobago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trent Gopee-Scoon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Switzerland players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
