Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Antal Valentin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonas Santiago in the 4th minute. El Lobo were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonas Santiago took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Jonas Santiago got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Miromir Czeszejko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miromir Czeszejko came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 13th minute of play forced El Lobo's goalkeeper Miromir Czeszejko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Takacs Tibor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 22 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miromir Czeszejko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miromir Czeszejko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vörös Henrik fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Vörös Henrik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Santiago got free with Fodor Daniel in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Miromir Czeszejko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Santiago was the one to do the kick off.
