In the 8th minute, Cosmin Rădescu made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alin Haidău charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alin Haidău the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Toader Vlădean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 24th minute, Boros Benedek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Cosmin Rădescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Marcel Gănescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Henger ATI and the Hungary players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Henger ATI getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Marcel Gănescu hit a great ball. FC Henger ATI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Takacs Tibor heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Marin Năsturel sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. In the 43rd minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Toader Vlădean. FC Henger ATI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Toader Vlădean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Rădescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Henger ATI.
