An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 11th minute of play forced Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's goalkeeper Iustin Pandrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iustin Pandrea. The Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iustin Pandrea should have stopped the shot. Lars Meesters took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iustin Pandrea. Iustin Pandrea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cazimir Velicu in the 19th minute of play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Paschalis Karastathis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Paschalis Karastathis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 36th minute of play forced Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's goalkeeper Iustin Pandrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustin Pandrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinu Zamfirescu in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iustin Pandrea quite easily take care of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cazimir Velicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 2-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Cazimir Velicu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's Iustin Pandrea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paschalis Karastathis in the 60th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paschalis Karastathis took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 72nd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Velicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paschalis Karastathis in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Lars Meesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paschalis Karastathis, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustin Pandrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
