Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jose Heredia got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, Downchester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Heredia to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrés Figueroa was slow to take the kick. During this time Downchester City's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Downchester City's Andrés Figueroa to fire away a dangerous shot which Gabriel Ascaso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Santiago Sartori made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Omar Toledo immediately put the ball in play. 19 minutes into the match, Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Heredia. In the 21st minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fumo Canuto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 29 played minutes Downchester City got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Ponte. Omar Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fumo Canuto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Heredia got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36thth minute of the game Adria Bielsa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Downchester City's Fumo Canuto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Rabellino in the 42nd minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Fumo Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Adria Bielsa took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fumo Canuto. Fumo Canuto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Omar Toledo might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fumo Canuto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Toledo ran back to his position shaking his head. Downchester City's Fumo Canuto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Toledo in the 64th minute of play. Omar Toledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Fumo Canuto made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Downchester City's Jose Heredia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Heredia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Aranda in the 75th minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Fumo Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Downchester City booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Criado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Downchester City made a substitution. Etxahun Rienda replaced Andrés Figueroa. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jonathan Criado hit a great ball. Sergio Ruiz struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Fumo Canuto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spain. Downchester City's Etxahun Rienda got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 90th minute of play forced Downchester City's goalkeeper Fumo Canuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beila Marcilla in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes in the game, Beila Marcilla dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etxahun Rienda in the 95th minute of play. Spain's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
