In the 16th minute, Eddie Willis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Planète Marseille's Marcel Bourdel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Khalid Kennedy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Kyle Cox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre-Olivier Couronne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Caelan Hayes made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kyle Cox immediately put the ball in play. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anatole Duchâtel in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Kennedy saved England from getting behind. The supporters of Planète Marseille booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micah Macdonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 32 played minutes, Planète Marseille's Pierre-Loup Trouillot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Planète Marseille reached it. Pierre-Olivier Couronne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of England booed when Planète Marseille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anatole Duchâtel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Issac Dawson in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre-Olivier Couronne saved Planète Marseille from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Issac Dawson to maneuver through the defense. Micah Macdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Couronne having to interfere. Pierre-Olivier Couronne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Redouane Loux made a kick off. Pierre-Olivier Couronne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyle Cox, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 played minutes Planète Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Côme Bedos. With an all-out effort, England's Pierre-Olivier Couronne threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Cox, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Planète Marseille's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Kyle Cox scored to the left of an out of position Pierre-Olivier Couronne, making the score, 0-3. The supporters of Planète Marseille booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Micah Macdonald was slow to take the kick. During this time England's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Planète Marseille's Côme Bedos got a free kick in the 89th minute. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cooper Thompson to maneuver through the defense. The Planète Marseille fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. England were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
