Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Michel Nicolleau in the 20th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Halim Kader read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yves Dervaux in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halim Kader prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Halim Kader showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Halim Kader managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Halim Kader made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Phenomenals FC's Halim Kader got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line.
