An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of play forced Tåga FF's goalkeeper Vladimir Djerlø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Filip Hasselqvist notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 洪昂文, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Tåga FF's Yağızalp Akdeniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 洪昂文 to make the kick off. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Vladimir Djerlø in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 minutes, Ernst Ekerot mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tåga FF and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vladimir Djerlø made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Tåga FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaj Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
