In the 5th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Giresun United F.K ©'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 7th minute of play forced Giresun United F.K ©'s goalkeeper Kubat Aydınoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Georg Bringtoft notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hungary's Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vörös Henrik to maneuver through the defense. Kubat Aydınoğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 25th minute of play forced Giresun United F.K ©'s goalkeeper Kubat Aydınoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kubat Aydınoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Giresun United F.K ©'s Vidyo Shaprin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Kubat Aydınoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 40th minute of play. Alemdar Oykan charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alemdar Oykan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Giresun United F.K ©'s Alemdar Oykan got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute, Georg Bringtoft left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giresun United F.K © fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 48 minutes into the match, Giresun United F.K ©'s Georg Bringtoft sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Georg Bringtoft to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kubat Aydınoğlu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubat Aydınoğlu having to interfere. After 58 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Naci Tuncel who took care of the corner kick. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Kubat Aydınoğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Kubat Aydınoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 63rd minute. Giresun United F.K ©'s Kubat Aydınoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Giresun United F.K © from getting a goal against them. Giresun United F.K © made a substitution. Isac Blomkvist replaced Aykut Arslantürk. Katona Janos kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Georg Bringtoft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Giresun United F.K ©'s goalkeeper Kubat Aydınoğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute Georg Bringtoft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giresun United F.K ©'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Isac Blomkvist in the 88th minute. Naci Tuncel's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Naci Tuncel helped the player get up and apologised. After 93 played minutes Giresun United F.K © got a freekick which was hit by Naci Tuncel. In the 95th minute Alemdar Oykan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Giresun United F.K © were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
