Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erwin Bienvenu in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Vacib 林义义 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vacib 林义义 got free with Tommy Kahn in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, Erwin Bienvenu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Erwin Bienvenu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Konstantinos Kroustallis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-0. In the 31st minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Petran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignác Mayer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwin Bienvenu in the 46th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vacib 林义义 was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. Horaţiu Petran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Schiele in the 55th minute of play. When Vacib 林义义 came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Gyál United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vacib 林义义 couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, one of Germany:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After having played for 75 minutes, Grigore Stoicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyál United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Stoicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute Vacib 林义义 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Ignác Mayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes of play, Gyál United's Konstantinos Kroustallis made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Grigore Stoicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Vacib 林义义 scored 6-0 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Gyál United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
