Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Horaţiu Petran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Gyál United got a freekick which was hit by Kenyon Lala. Balazs Lajos took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Petran. Horaţiu Petran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After 30 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Horaţiu Petran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Petran having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Gyál United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinos Kroustallis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Erwin Bienvenu sent off a good shot on target. After 44 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. The Gyál United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 1-3.

Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horaţiu Petran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Horaţiu Petran in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vacib 林义义 in the 56th minute of the match. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoltán Varga, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Gyál United from getting a goal against them. After having played for 62 minutes, Konstantinos Kroustallis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyál United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konstantinos Kroustallis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horaţiu Petran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Major Barna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 64 minute of play. Hungary's Balazs Lajos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Horaţiu Petran in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 90 minutes, Hegedus Henrik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hegedus Henrik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gyál United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
