The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belgium. 63 minutes into the game, Kerkyra FC's Zlatan Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Kerkyra FC's Paraskevas Labrakoglou was substituted for Grigoris Kalabosis. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatan Messi in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Alisson Becker however easily saved by the left post. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Simon Sabbe hit a great ball. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Zlatan Messi came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
