Julien Cappels kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Maurice Milters could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Eikelkamp in the 14th minute of play forced Fox Hunting Squad's goalkeeper Emiel De Raeijmaecker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Nic Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nic Adams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiel De Raeijmaecker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes Fox Hunting Squad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Kees Mooiweer scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiel De Raeijmaecker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiel De Raeijmaecker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fox Hunting Squad's Emiel De Raeijmaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nic Adams came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiel De Raeijmaecker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 40 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiel De Raeijmaecker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julien Cappels kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emiel De Raeijmaecker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fox Hunting Squad's Karel Dheedene got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fox Hunting Squad's Emiel De Raeijmaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 59th minute of play. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel De Raeijmaecker having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emiel De Raeijmaecker. That made the score 0-3 after 76 minutes of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Emiel De Raeijmaecker skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiel De Raeijmaecker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gustaaf Groeneveldts short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Emiel De Raeijmaecker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emiel De Raeijmaecker. That made the score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. Fox Hunting Squad's Emiel De Raeijmaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 93rd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Lars Meesters made a precise shot to the right of Emiel De Raeijmaecker. Fox Hunting Squad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fox Hunting Squad throughout the match.
