In the 14th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antal Valentin to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Bumin Onursev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cihangir Onsoy did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fodor Daniel 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Palestine's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Jaroslaw Bako reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihangir Onsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cihangir Onsoy was the one to do the kick off. Cihangir Onsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cihangir Onsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
