Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jorginho Queiroz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Politehnica Iasi's Emilian Feteanu. Emilian Feteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 14 played minutes Politehnica Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Vişoianu. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorginho Queiroz in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Jorginho Queiroz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emilian Feteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Jorginho Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Politehnica Iasi's David Cărtărescu got a free kick in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Politehnica Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Emilian Feteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorginho Queiroz went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Queiroz in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Politehnica Iasi getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. David Cărtărescu hit a great ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Politehnica Iasi's Jan Trzenzalski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 44 minutes into the match, Jorginho Queiroz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorginho Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 51st minute. Sven Krakouer charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Krakouer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Jorginho Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Dulgherescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The corner ended in Jan Trzenzalski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Jan Trzenzalski put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Queiroz in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Trzenzalski in the 73rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Politehnica Iasi's Emilian Feteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 82nd minute of play. Politehnica Iasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Cărtărescu in the 84th minute. It was a well-played corner which Tiberiu Dulgherescu managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Trzenzalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Politehnica Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Munteanu to maneuver through the defense. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Trzenzalski in the 96th minute of the match. Politehnica Iasi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
