Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Fighting Mongooses FC the free kick. After 12 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Denis Dostal. The crowd rose to their feet as The Fighting Mongooses FC's Gustaw Flis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vavrinec Holub. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 16th minute David Rusil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Beninda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristoforo Tarulli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Lech Modrzewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Tarulli in the 24th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Lech Modrzewski sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaw Flis in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. Cristoforo Tarulli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Vavrinec Holub skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Jilek to make the kick off. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolek Jaworski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fighting Mongooses FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristoforo Tarulli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Flis in the 82nd minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Cristoforo Tarulli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Fighting Mongooses FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 88th minute, Tolek Jaworski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vavrinec Holub was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaw Flis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Fighting Mongooses FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
