Derman Akdağ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The TÜRKİSTAN 61 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because TÜRKİSTAN 61 had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
