The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when 毛森夕 got free with Tommy Kahn in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute 孔政旭 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 杨乐海, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 毛森夕. In the 34th minute 杨乐海 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 孔政旭 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by 毛森夕 in the 44th minute. When Adrian Dreifuss fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Adrian Dreifuss a yellow card for diving instead. In the 48th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 毛森夕 made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 毛森夕 in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when 毛森夕 came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game 孔政旭 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If 毛森夕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germany's attentive Linus Schwerner managed to snatch the ball when Mustafa Anıl Sebuk made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game.
