With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timmy Kjellkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 37th minute of play forced FC Hans's goalkeeper Timmy Kjellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timmy Kjellkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Viorel Moldovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Moldovan in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Portugal booed when FC Hans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Erik Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viorel Moldovan to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Hans's goalkeeper Timmy Kjellkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. 55 minutes into the match, Viorel Moldovan notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Hans's Ulf Arvidsson was substituted for Firman Morientes. FC Hans's Alfons Malmberg was substituted for Måns Jernberg. Timmy Kjellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 60th minute of the match. Felipe Barretos short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Timmy Kjellkvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xiao Wei Yan in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Timmy Kjellkvist saved FC Hans from getting behind. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Bertil Kalfhage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Hans. FC Hans's Nils-Erik Fransson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bruno Bastos, made in the 85th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, Xiao Wei Yan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 94 minutes into the match, Felipinho Amorim dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Timmy Kjellkvist, 5-2. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
