Şentürk Serdaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Paşa Borlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 4th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paşa Borlu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. Paşa Borlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, MaKaRa SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Paşa Borlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MaKaRa SPOR's Ali Faruk Gökyüzü managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gust Ennemans in the 18 minute of the game. Bennvar Savage scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Savage, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Paşa Borlu came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stein Hermansen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bennvar Savage could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. In the 46th minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stein Hermansen struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MaKaRa SPOR.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bennvar Savage made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stein Hermansen in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. MaKaRa SPOR's Paşa Borlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th minute of play. Jerzy Harbaszewski hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Paşa Borlu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer. The supporters of Netherlands booed when MaKaRa SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stein Hermansen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, MaKaRa SPOR's goalkeeper Paşa Borlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Paşa Borlu could save by the left post. Paşa Borlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 73rd minute of play. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Paşa Borlu made a huge save. After a rather tough play, MaKaRa SPOR's Utkan Sarıalp got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paşa Borlu skillfully saved the ball. Paşa Borlu made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 83rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Savage in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, MaKaRa SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Paşa Borlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stein Hermansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
