Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, David Barbier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 5 minutes into the match, Coviolo's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Pär Are reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amedeo Recio got free with Maxime Durand in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexis Bruneau charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexis Bruneau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Coviolo booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Bruneau didn't get a good kick on the ball. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabiano Di Nino, made in the 14th minute of the game. The throw-in from Fabiano Di Nino in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. Amedeo Recio in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maxime Durand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Maxime Durand managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Coviolo's Amedeo Recio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 32nd minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Coviolo booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Bruneau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Frezza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pär Are breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Coviolo's Alessandro Buffone dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Peletier to make the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Amedeo Recio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Recio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes, Alfonso Muciaccia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coviolo and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Coviolo's Alfonso Muciaccia got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Jean Bombelles. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Frezza in the 65th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as France's David Barbier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pär Are. That made the score 1-3 after 72 minutes of play. Alberto Frezza struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coviolo. Frank Peletier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pär Are read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabiano Di Nino during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of France booed when Coviolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Di Nino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pär Are showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes Coviolo got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Buffone. Domenico Olmi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. France's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
