After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 15th minute. Albert Osmond's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 18th minute Mordham FC were awarded a corner. Sid Barton went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sid Barton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Arnout Reekers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Albert Osmond's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Mordham FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Perry Wardle hit a great ball. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donny Proctor. In the 40th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiger Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Mordham FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Lars Meesters to score against Tiger Kahn in Mordham FC's goal. 0-1 after 42 minutes. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy Horseman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Albert Osmond could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Arnout Reekers however easily saved by the left post. Tiger Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a little luck, Mordham FC's Tiger Kahn got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mordham FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Donny Proctor hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 80 minutes Mordham FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mordham FC's goalie and right to Gustaaf Groeneveldt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mordham FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 84 minutes of play, Mordham FC's Zack Blewett made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Zack Blewett came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
