The audience thought a goal was coming when Fedele Panza got free with Tommy Kahn in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristoforo Tammaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 16th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Hibai in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Hibai in the 26th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Panza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristoforo Tammaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 34th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Hibai in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Tammaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fedele Panza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Hibai made a kick off. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Hibai in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Cristoforo Tammaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. 60 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristoforo Tammaro. Lunatics of Arianrhod's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albin Holweck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. 65 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ernesto Martini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Dário Pereira. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Enzo Masciarelli was substituted for Dário Pereira. After a rather tough play, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Dário Pereira got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Joel Hibai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the game, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Joel Hibai nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. In the 84th minute Ernesto Martini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute Lunatics of Arianrhod were awarded a corner. Joel Hibai went to the cornerflag to take it. 88 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hibai came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lunatics of Arianrhod had played much better football throughout.
