Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paddy McNeish started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paddy McNeish in the 3rd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Floodish FC's Blair McClure nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 14th minute of the match, Johnny Davie got a very nice opportunity to score, but Casper Claes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Keith Scotland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Keith Scotland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edward Vanderstraeten's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo McNeish in the 22nd minute of the match. Paddy McNeishs short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Casper Claes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paddy McNeish in the 30th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keith Scotland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Paddy McNeish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paddy McNeish in the 34th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keith Scotland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Keith Scotland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Keith Scotland came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Keith Scotland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes Floodish FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Belgium's Simon Sabbe getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 60th minute, Willie McLeay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keith Scotland. Floodish FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jake Enrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keith Scotland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 66th minute. Keith Scotland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 70th minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Floodish FC's goalkeeper Keith Scotland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keith Scotland having to make a save. 82 minutes into the match, Floodish FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Keith Scotland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Keith Scotland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theo McNeish in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match, Yves Dervaux got a very nice opportunity to score, but Keith Scotland was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 93rd minute Paddy McNeish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Theo McNeish came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Belgium walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
