In the 28thth minute of the game Christoforos Manousopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute NIKE Academy were awarded a corner. Oskar Lägdin went to the cornerflag to take it. NIKE Academy's Oskar Lägdin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to NIKE Academy getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Olov Åberg hit a great ball. NIKE Academy's Ola Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Robert Mühren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience was convinced that Christoforos Manousopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Van Der Taelen in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Olov Åberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Van Der Taelen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. NIKE Academy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. When Oskar Lägdin came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the NIKE Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Lägdin couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the match, Oskar Lägdin notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. The referee gave NIKE Academy a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Christoforos Manousopoulos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Netherlands's Arnout Reekers. 3-0. After some careless play in the NIKE Academy defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ola Wall. The NIKE Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ola Wall should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, NIKE Academy's Ola Wall got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NIKE Academy's Antonio-Ubaldo Conte was substituted for Robert Mühren. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. NIKE Academy were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
